A quick disclaimer to say that I am not affiliated with Scrapbook & Cards Today Papercraft Magazine, but I do subscribe to their monthly SCT Sampler. I like the flexibility and simplicity of getting a little taste of new products that are curated from leading companies and brands in the papercrafting market. It's kind of like test driving a new car every month and it's surprisingly affordable. Head over to their website to read more about it.

Here are a few scrapbook page layouts I've done over the years. Where I could remember, I've listed the brand of supplies I've used, but having done so many over the years, I may have forgotten (gettin' old sucks!)

My first mini album as a disaster. I followed a few tutorials on Youtube and did my best to follow along, but in my pursuits to try and do things a little differently (cause that's how I learn the hard way!) my measurements were off, cracks started to appear along the inside of the hinges, and I had run out of patterned paper and had pulled together a mismatched set of paper pads that just didn't jive.

By the time I made my third album, I was starting to get the hang of things and gained more confidence in the process. I still prefer the chipboard and rings method to the albums with lots of pockets and tabs. But both are fun to make! Here are a few that I've made in the last few years. I made several and gave them away as gifts, and regret not taking photos of them beforehand.

Here are a few traditional 12x12 scrapbook albums I've made over the years.
